Allison Phillips is a professional pickleball player competing on the PPA Tour in women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. She has established herself as a notable competitor in the rapidly growing sport of professional pickleball.

Background & Career

Born and raised in northern Utah, Alli Phillips comes from a family that is heavily involved in pickleball. The sixth of eight children, Phillips herself has been playing pickleball for seven years. Playing the sport alongside tennis, she had a lot of success with pickleball on some of the biggest stages throughout the 2010s, capturing titles at the 2019 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships and the 2021 AAU World Junior Olympics. Phillips committed to pickleball full-time after graduating high school and in 2022 was ranked as the No. 1 female college pickleball player in the nation by DUPR in both singles and doubles. She turned pro in 2023 and signed with the PPA Tour shortly thereafter. She competes at the Challenger Level of Major League Pickleball as a member of the New Jersey 5’s. Aside from playing, Phillips also teaches the game. She has been coaching adults, teens, and children for over three years and has even been an instructor for Utah State University pickleball classes.

Away from the court, Phillips is a big fan of the “Lord of the Rings” and “Harry Potter” series. She is also adept at memorizing movie quotes, song lyrics, and dance moves really quickly and can quote nearly entire movies.
