Jonathan Truong first picked up a paddle in March 2020, casually playing pickleball with his family. By 2023, he began taking the sport more seriously and entered his first PPA Pro Qualifier in San Clemente in 2024, where he successfully made the main draw. He went on to earn his first PPA main draw victory at PPA Daytona later that year. In March 2025, Jonathan signed a sponsorship deal with Joola and continued his rise in the sport, securing more wins on the PPA tour. He also competed in Major League Pickleball, representing the Bay Area Breakers at MLP St. Louis.
