Background & Career

A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, Liz Truluck comes from a tennis background, She played Division I tennis at Davidson College where she earned a degree in studio art. In the summer of 2022, while working as a tennis coach, she found pickleball and initially picked it up for fun. Liz soon fell in love with the quick pace of the game and its community.

She played her first pro event at the PPA in May 2023. Less than six months later, she decided to play pickleball full-time. When not on the court, Liz loves to be in nature, paint, and practice yoga.
